About Wayne Duval Ministries

Our History

From a young age, I have always had a deep desire to serve God and preach the Gospel. My spiritual journey began in the Full Gospel Church of God, where my entire family surrendered their hearts to Jesus. It was a beautiful time of growth and transformation. During those years, I was blessed with a strong foundation in faith, which led me to take on leadership roles within the church. I served as a Sunday School leader, later became a Youth Leader, and eventually led the evangelistic department, passionately sharing the message of salvation.

It was in the church that I met my beautiful wife, Quanter. Our shared faith brought us together, and we built a life rooted in love and devotion to God. Today, we celebrate 27 wonderful years of marriage, cherishing every moment of our journey together.

While Quanter pursued her career as a nursing sister, I followed a path in Short-term Insurance, starting from the ground up and growing the business into what it is today. In time, God led us to Johannesburg, where much of my ministry foundation was shaped and strengthened.

Our family was blessed with the birth of our son, Joshua, in Johannesburg. Fourteen years later, we welcomed our daughter, Zoe, completing our family. Through it all, God’s hand has been evident in our lives, guiding us, shaping us, and preparing us for His purpose.

Our ministry Foundation

My wife and I became members of Rhema Bible Church under the leadership of Pastor Ray McCauley, where we faithfully served in ministry for 22 years. During this time, my wife actively participated in various women’s leadership programs, strengthening her role in ministry and community service.

We began our journey by leading a Home Cell, which became a beautiful and fulfilling time of ministry. As our passion for serving grew, I, along with other emerging leaders, launched a movement called DotGod, specifically designed for young adults. By God’s grace, it flourished tremendously, and Pastor Ray personally mentored us, guiding the movement to new heights.

I later joined the Northern District team as a Lay Minister under Pastor Benjamin Peter, where we worked diligently to expand the district and implement impactful programs.

God then called me into a more leadership role, and I was appointed as the Head of the Men’s Ministry at Rhema Church. Through this ministry, God transformed many lives, strengthening men in their faith and purpose.

During this time, I also attended Rhema Bible College, where I completed my studies and graduated.

Serving under Pastor Ray McCauley’s leadership was a transformative experience. His dynamic vision and charismatic leadership revealed a deeper understanding of God’s heart, which has profoundly shaped my own ministry today.

Wayne Duval Ministries – Statement of Faith

Wayne Duval Ministries is a Christ-centered ministry founded on the unwavering belief in the one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our faith is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). We believe that through prayer, studying the Word, and acts of love and service, we can draw closer to God and walk in His divine purpose for our lives.

Core Beliefs:

1. The Word of God

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and living Word of God. It is our foundation, guiding us in truth, wisdom, and righteousness.

2. Salvation Through Christ

We believe that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. Through His death and resurrection, we are redeemed, forgiven, and restored into relationship with God (Romans 10:9-10).

3. The Power of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the indwelling and empowering work of the Holy Spirit, who leads, comforts, and equips believers for ministry and victorious living.

4. A Life of Prayer & Worship

Prayer is our lifeline to God. Through prayer, worship, and meditation on His Word, we deepen our relationship with Him and align ourselves with His will.

5. Love, Compassion & Service

Our ministry exists to demonstrate the love of Christ by serving others—feeding the hungry, helping the needy, strengthening families, and building up the body of Christ. As Jesus said, “Whatever you did for the least of these, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40).

6. Raising Up Leaders

Just as we have been mentored and equipped, we are committed to discipling and raising up leaders who will impact the world with the Gospel, equipping them to fulfill God’s calling on their lives.

7. A Kingdom-Minded Mission

We are not confined by walls but are called to reach beyond—into cities, nations, and communities—bringing transformation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Calling & Purpose

From our early years in ministry in the Full Gospel Church of God to a leadership position at Rhema Bible Church and later assisting in the leadership in Open Heaven Bible Church, our journey has been one of faith, growth, and service. Wayne Duval Ministries exists to continue this calling—to be a light in a dark world, to bring healing where there is brokenness, and to equip people to live out their God-given destinies.

We believe that nothing is too hard for the Lord (Jeremiah 32:27) and that through Him, all things are possible!
