We, as a Christian singles community under Wayne Duval Ministries, hold fast to the following truths as the foundation of our lives, relationships, and calling in Christ: 

We Believe in God’s Sovereignty Over Every Season 

“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1 

Singleness is not a mistake or a waiting line to marriage—it is a divine season with purpose. God is actively working in and through us right now. 

We Believe Wholeness Comes Before Relationship 

“You are complete in Him…” – Colossians 2:10 

We don’t seek another person to complete us. In Christ, we are already whole. Relationships are not for fixing brokenness but for complementing God-given identity and purpose. 

We Believe in Waiting Well 

“Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength…” – Isaiah 40:31 

Waiting is not passive—it’s a time of preparation, obedience, and spiritual growth. We choose to wait well in our waiting room ministry, trusting God’s perfect timing over societal pressure. 

We Believe Purity Is Possible and Powerful 

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” – Matthew 5:8 

We pursue purity not out of fear, but out of love and devotion to God. We believe in honoring our bodies, thoughts, and relationships as temples of the Holy Spirit. 

We Believe in the Power of Godly Community 

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17 

We were never meant to do life alone. The Waiting Room is a place within our Christian singles community for authentic connection, encouragement, accountability, and prayer. 

We Believe Singleness Is a Gift, Not a Curse 

“I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from God…” – 1 Corinthians 7:7 

We reject the lie that marriage is the goal of life. We celebrate the gift of singleness as a time to fully serve God without distraction, stewarding our calling with joy and purpose. 

We Believe in Becoming Before Belonging 

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” – Psalm 37:4 

We are more concerned about becoming the right person than finding the right person. Our desire is to empower singles in faith to be transformed into the image of Christ, aligning our hearts with His will.
